In the late 1970s and early 80s Sandy Finkelman was taken on to lead the Diamondback BMX race team and product development division. Under his leadership 'Scary' Harry Leary and Eddy King won many of the top US BMX races in the 1980s and helped develop new models that had unique features like the Turbo dropout and Diamond gusset. In 1983 the Diamondback Senior Pro bike was also seen on the big screen in BMX Bandits. The designs are plastisol style distressed, giving it a retro/vintage/old school look. Printed by DTG process combining the ultimate in detail with unrivalled durability.
