Clark Foam - White

Clark Foam was a Californian company that manufactured surfboard blanks, foam slabs, reinforced with one or more wooden stringers. Cast in the rough shape of a surfboard and used by shapers to create finished surfboards. Founded in 1961 by Gordon "Grubby" Clark, it established a near-monopoly on the American market, and a strong presence in the international market, which it held until the company's unexpected overnight closure on December 5th 2005. The abrupt closing of Clark Foam sent shockwaves through the industry and left surfboard shapers scrambling for new suppliers. The design is plastisol style distressed, giving it a retro/vintage/old school look. Printed by DTG process combining the ultimate in detail with unrivalled durability. We suggest washing the garments inside out and at a low temperature to extend the lifespan of the print.
