The Marquee Club London - White

The Marquee Club was a music venue first located at 165 Oxford Street in London, when it opened in 1958, but its most famous period was from 1964 to 1988 at 90 Wardour Street in Soho, and it finally closed when at 105 Charing Cross Road in 1996. Located at the heart of the music industry in London's West End, and used to launch the careers of generations of rock acts, including the first-ever live performance by the Rolling Stones on 12 July 1962, plus other 60s residencies including the Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, the Who, Yes, Jethro Tull, the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Pink Floyd. Then in the 70s there were performances from the likes of, The Faces, Queen, Status Quo, Sex Pistols, the Stranglers, the Police, Buzzcocks, Adam & the Ants, the Jam, Joy Division and the Cure. Then in the 80s, Def Leppard, Diamond Head, Iron Maiden, Metallica and Marillion. The design is plastisol style distressed, giving it a retro/vintage/old school look. Printed by DTG process combining the ultimate in detail with unrivalled durability. We suggest washing the garments inside out and at a low temperature to extend the lifespan of the print.
