Hammersmith Palais - Black

Originally called the Hammersmith Palais de Danse and in its last years simply named Hammersmith Palais, was a dance hall and music venue, from 1919 until 2007, based in Hammersmith, London. On many Saturday nights, in excess of 2,000 people would visit the venue. One of the features was a huge revolving stage with a band on each side, which also caused a number of accidents! The Hammersmith Palais played host to countless artists; among them Bill Haley & His Comets, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, David Bowie, the Sex Pistols, Elvis Costello and the Attractions, the Cure, U2, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Kylie Minogue and the Police. On 20 March 2007, despite its importance to Britain's cultural history, the Hammersmith Palais was condemned for demolition and was finally demolished in May 2012. The design is plastisol style distressed, giving it a retro/vintage/old school look. Printed by DTG process combining the ultimate in detail with unrivalled durability. We suggest washing the garments inside out and at a low temperature to extend the lifespan of the print.
